He continued that the aim of the System is to establish an integrated ICT-based PFM information systems in Ghana at the Treasuries, MDAs and MMDAs located at the National, Regional and District levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Some of the uses of GIFMIS include<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage commitment made against appropriation<\/li>\n<li>Process payment and claims<\/li>\n<li>Record revenue and expenditure transactions<\/li>\n<li>Produce Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Some benefits of the System include<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Addressing lack of integration between budget preparation and execution systems.<\/li>\n<li>Addressing inadequate budgetary controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The training session was fully participated by key staff of the College, which included the Principal, Finance Unit, Audit Unit, Procurement Unit, Stores and IT Unit.&nbsp;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-46d0163 elementor-widget__width-initial aleft elementor-widget-image-box
